Intuition and Your Path to Purpose

With Tim Sippola

In this workshop we will be exploring our purpose, what are we here for, what’s the meaning we give to our lives?  For most (all?) of us, this is far from a settled question, as life is about change, whether we like change or not.  We are presently immersed in a sea of change, some of it chaotic, confusing, and scary, some of it fantastic, amazing, and promising.  Intuition is the most valuable asset we have for navigating change, but there are obstacles to its ease of access.  Purpose can actually change in an instant, though we generally think of it being a more persistent force in our lives.  Whether we know it or not, purpose relies on intuition to manifest.

In the morning session we will:

  • Take a look at some of the more fundamental aspects of purpose: its nature, its role, and its goal.

  • We’ll clarify how intuition is indispensably linked to each person’s unique path to purpose, even when they have a clear sense of it.

  • We’ll touch on a simple explanation of plasma physics, a very recent development that reunites science with spirituality (and intuition!), divorced from each other 400 years ago when Pope Urban the 7th sentenced Galileo to life imprisonment for saying the earth revolved around the sun.

  • Discuss the significance of plasma physics as it represents an incredibly promising, major breakthrough in consciousness, critical to our world at this time, directly underscoring the exciting role that each of us plays by simply expanding intuitive capacity, providing realistic hope and direction to anchor you in your sense of purpose.

  • Have time for Q & A, then a small group exercise before lunch.

In the afternoon session we will:

  • Review the requisites for expanded intuitive consciousness.

  • Introduce the “hidden” beliefs hiding in plain sight that prevent us from understanding and going deeper into trusting our feelings.

  • Cover a full range of ideas and methods of intuitive development, so each individual can pick and choose from amongst them to pursue their own unique path to develop a greater awareness and/or sense of purpose.

  • Spend time sharing which ideas most resonated and how they might appeal to you in pursuing your path to purpose.

  • Leave time for Q & A, and/or general discussion.

About Time Sippola

Tim Sippola is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice since 1980, working with people of all ages. He received his Masters degree and PhD from the University of Kansas, at a time when there was a real push to position psychology as a "hard" science, meaning a concerted effort was being made to focus on measurable phenomena only, excluding such basic aspects of human experience as love and intuition because they were difficult to quantify.

"Forty-five years ago, I moved to Emporia, Kansas, accepting a job at the local community mental health center.  Seven years later, however, I left that job and went into full-time private practice, preferring that to the ever-increasing bureaucratic, budgetary, and compliance issues mandated by reliance on federal government funding that were encroaching on the atmosphere and workspace at the mental health center.  However, I did feel that, as the only clinical psychologist in Emporia, I was fulfilling a real need in this community, and that I could better serve clients as a private practitioner, if free of meetings, institutional obligations, etc.  The learning I have experienced working with clients and on myself has led to a continual expansion of my consciousness, immensely rewarding.

I detail all of this as background to the intention behind this workshop – facilitating the ability to pursue your unfolding purpose.  Now, eighteen months ago, I felt “the urge” to begin doing workshops — teaching.  By following that intuitive nudge, a new surge in my intuitive expansion was created.  Then, four months ago, for the first time since 1979, when I burned out writing my dissertation (a 300 page book!), I began feeling a very unexpected impulse to write again, far stronger than my 47 year long, burnt-out, dread of writing.  I committed to writing a weekly Substack column to share how intuitive experience leads us forward in our pursuit of purpose.  Doing so in response to that intuitive impulse has led to a magnificent unfolding I wouldn’t have believed possible before now.  Purpose may not be a singular thing; it can evolve, it can take us in different directions, take us to new levels of fulfillment.  It’s not a “should.”  I share this in hopes of inspiring you to trust and follow your own heart, the seat of Love, the sixth-sense guidance system of your being.  Who knows where it will lead?"
