Robin suggests a $45 - $60 contribution for your session. Healing Touch is a world-renowned type of energy therapy. It involves light relaxing touch as well as work within the energy field around your body with little to no touch. Experience deep relaxation and release of stored up toxins and tension with procedures such as mind clearing, chakra connection, headache and pain management techniques. Healing touch can be combined with a guided meditation at your request. Healing Touch sessions are offered by The Light Center director, Robin Goff.
Massage Rates begin at $60 and up for a 1 to 1.5 hour massage. From Deep Tissue Rolfing and Thai to light Swedish therapies, we work with the area’s finest massage therapists. Please notify us of your preference and we will do our best to schedule a session with a therapist right here in the barn. Rates vary by therapist.
Hiking Enjoy exploring our 34 acres of wooded beautiful grounds and gardens. In your explorations find secluded meadows, meandering creek, wildflower labyrinth, organic vegetable garden, healing garden, meditation garden with hammocks & swings & end up on the barn patio for an evening campfire or lazy sunbath.
Weddings $250 ministerial/ceremony fee plus barn rental fee. $200 security deposit (of your total expense) required upfront. We offer an intimate indoor or garden space for your wedding ceremony. Couples can choose the loft area of the barn or our meditation garden. Weddings are limited to 35 guests. Please call the office to discuss our services to customize your day as well as review our event policies.
Yurt (when available) $35 overnight use. $45 per 24-hr rental. See us prior to “checking out” the yurt while at TLC as it is frequently rented for private use! Enjoy the unique experience of sleeping in a 30 ft Pacific Yurt in our secluded meadow adjacent to meandering hiking trails leading to Eight Mile Creek. The Yurt is a great location for meditation or yoga for a small group retreat as well.
The Barn Loft/Indoor Camping $25 suggested love offering We have a variety of futons in the upstairs common area of the barn. This space is used as meeting and or living room type space during the day so overnight guests are kindly asked to stow their personal items during the day. Guests should expect to share this sleeping space with other overnight guests. The barn & it’s kitchen & bathrooms are shared community space. Guests are asked to return the barn to rentable condition upon departure.
Outdoor Camping $15 suggested love offering We have tents available or feel free to bring your own. We have several choice spots for serene outdoor sleeping.
Private Rooms Week Nights (Sun-Thurs) $55. Weekend Nights (Fri & Sat) $65. (suggested love offering) We have two private rooms in the barn to choose from. Please communicate with Light Center staff and we’ll do our best to house you in a room that will suit your needs.
Meals Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you should need for your meal preparation. Please come prepared with your own food. Guests are asked to clean the kitchen & dishes as well as remove all trash & food at the end of their stay. Guests are asked to return the barn to rentable condition upon departure
Barn Rental Group Meeting, Workshop or Retreat Space 24-hour Barn rental $195 * Full Day (8-12 hrs) use $145 * Evening or partial day use (less than 6 hrs) $70 Yurt is not included in these prices. You and/or your group will have full private access to the barn, its kitchen and bathrooms and 2 Private bedrooms. Scout troops, clubs, organizations, office retreats, classes, workshops enjoy the barn as a secluded quiet space to plan, team build, relax and learn. Please discuss with us “do it yourself barn clean up” or make a suggested additional $30 clean up donation. Choose to bring your own sheets & towels or opt for use of our linens and make a donation toward laundering. Also be aware that the barn is a shared community space that operates 100% by participants & volunteer effort. We do not operate “hotel” style but rather depend upon our guests generosity & mindfulness to upkeep the space. The barn is a very rustic casual space. Think of it as a cabin in the woods.
Deposits & Cancellations All events, barn rentals and private room stays require a minimum, non-refundable $25 (room) and $50—$75 (event & barn) deposit. In addition, circumstances of short notice cancellations may require an additional $25 cancellation fee. Sweat lodges Sweat lodge ceremony can be added to most group reservations. Outside groups may also schedule private inipi/sweat events. Usually, there will be free open community sweats each month.
