The Light Center is designed to be a rustic get away in the secluded country side just one hour outside of Kansas City and 30 minutes from KU/Lawrence, Kansas.
Our renovated cozy rustic retreat barn and the surrounding 34 acres with gardens, hiking trails, secluded camping, lazy creek, wooded hills and secret meadows, and can be rented for private or silent retreats, up to groups of 30. We have overnight accommodations for less than 20 with nearby back up B&Bs or hotels. Much work has been done to anchor The Light here and establish a healing sacred space in nature.
We have hosted weddings, corporate team building retreats, church board retreats, workshops for men & women, fasting, energy healing classes, massage classes, kids & family camps, cancer retreats, concerts and so much more.
Barn Rental Group Meeting, Workshop or Convention Space 24-hour Barn rental $195 ~ Full Day (8-12 hrs) use $145 Evening or partial day use (less than 6 hrs) $70 Yurt & private rooms are not included in these prices.

You and/or your group will have full private access to the barn, its kitchen and bathrooms. Private bedrooms are not included in these prices & an additional donation per person is suggested for use of the futons in the common area with your barn rental . Scout troops, clubs, organizations, office retreats, classes, workshops and more enjoy the barn as a secluded private space with modern conveniences (bathrooms, shower, full kitchen, A.V. equipment & central heat & air) while still in nature so you can reflect, plan, team build, relax and learn.
