Qi Gong Workshop with Martine Larrive, Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 10 AM to 4 PM. What is Qi Gong? Part of the traditional Chinese medicine, QiGong is a meditative practice, which uses slow graceful movements and controlled breathing techniques to promote the circulation of the Qi (chi or life force) within the body. It circulates through channels called meridians and is highly beneficial for stress release and reducing or eliminating pain in the body. In China, it is officially recognized as a standard medical practice. QiGong works on the body, mind and spirit through breathing, concentration asa well as providing healing movement exercise. This workshop will be relaxing and not involve strenuous exercise. Please bring healthier vegetarian food to share for lunch. Cost: Love offering for the day.

Meditation for World Peace October 8th, 2009 at 7pm. Helen Yamada, Core Star and The Light Center will host a Meditation for World Peace. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Light Center. Fee for Meditation: Love offering for The Light Center.
Workshop for Healers by Helen Yamada, October 10th and 11th from 9:45 to 5:00 Helen will facilitate a spirit led workshop for healers. Fee for workshop: $250.

Especially now we all need to be maintaining a clear energy field so that the powerful flow of creation can flow through us to build a new world.
